The Ministry of Highways, Provincial Operational Services, Traffic Guidance is seeking an equipment operator for the Yorkton Pavement Marking Crew.

In this position, you will survey/pre-mark on sections of highways in an assigned geographical region. Duties include working with a GIS database and GPS locations applying pre-mark for the start and end of passing zones and guide marks for striping activities. Including maintaining records and logs of hours of operation, making repairs and adjusting material quantities applied to the highways. This position includes moderate to heavy physical work with frequent lifting.

You will be operationally responsible for one pilot truck operator.

To qualify for this position, you will possess a valid Class 3A operators license at the time of hire, or you will possess a valid Class to pass probation.

Candidates must be able to perform the duties of this position in a safe manner. A criminal record check and a driver's abstract will be a requirement of this job.
