Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  
This position is responsible for administrative duties to support the Jordans Principle Program as outlined herein:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible to:
Type, photocopy and fax documentation for the Jordans Principle Program as required
Set up and maintain a filing system for tracking and reporting purposes
Specific administrative and technical support to the Jordans Principle Coordinator and Outreach Worker as required
Prepare meeting logistics and take notes as required
Work with the kotawn or Health Executive Assistant(s) to process invoices for approval, track and distribute payments
Receive and document calls for support and serve as a contact person in the community/service area for Jordans Principle requests,
Assist in collect information provided by the client as needed;
Assist with intaking and tracking documentation for processing;
Develop and maintain an electronic data tracking mechanism to support processing and reporting
Miscellaneous:
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in relation to Jordans Principle information
Always maintain professional conduct and engagement
Knowledge of the Cree language and Cree laws, values and teachings is considered an asset
Other duties, as assigned within the scope of duties
Qualifications:
Possess a certificate/diploma from an accredited recognized business course with a minimum of one (1) year experience would be an asset
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Ability to develop rapport with clients;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as other office equipment;
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license (Class 5), have access to a reliable vehicle as some travel may be necessary
Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment
