Purpose and Key Responsibilities
Prince Albert Housing Authority is expanding their Tenant Services department and adding a 4th Tenant Service Officer.
The principal functions of this position are to grow relationships from placement to exit of PAHA; They work within the community to promote and to ensure that vacant units are quickly occupied by responsible qualified tenants; Educate the tenants about PAHA policies and procedures and being a renter; Be knowledgeable in 3rd party services that can offered to tenants to assist in improving their livelihood; Manage a portfolio of mixed senior and family tenants.
The key responsibilities are:
Established long-term relationships with the tenants and handle all their requests and deal with their issues.
Work closely with all Tenant Services Staff
Lead and complete the Tenant On-boarding program.
Lead or assist in presenting Rent-Ed to our tenants and potential tenants.
Complete annual lease renewals for seniors and families in the portfolio
Ensure reminders are provided to tenants in family portfolio to send/bring in necessary paperwork for lease renewals - give to Customer Service Representative to complete.
Complete rent adjustments as needed.
Create and approve payment arrangements.
Lead and complete the Eviction Process for units within portfolio.
Sign leases, provide information to tenants for move in, ensure all data regarding leases is entered into JDE.
Act as backup for the Customer Service Representative and Tenant Service Admin as required.
Act as backup for the other TSOs, as necessary or when they are away
Handle all complaints, transfer requests and all other tenant questions or issues from their portfolio.
