Description

Carmacks Enterprises Ltd. is a civil contractor, specializing in road and bridge construction and maintenance, in business for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a seasonal Flagger for our Highways Division to work on a project in the Allan area. This position will report to the Highways Division Foreman.

This project consists of grading, side sloping and installation of culverts and removing concrete curbs and sidewalks in Allan.

What is the role?

The worker controls movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects
Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand and flag signals
Warns construction/utility workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers
Informs drivers of detour routes through work sites
What we value?

Minimum 1 years of flagging experience would be an asset
Experience working with highways construction would be an asset
Excellent verbal communication skills
Minimum class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
You must be physically fit, able to work long hours outdoors
