Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Accounting Specialist at Western Sales (1986) Ltd., located in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for daily financial transactions, accounts payables, cash balancing, reconciliations and reporting, making journal entries, and assisting with various finance-related tasks.
Qualifications
Experience in finance or accounting
Knowledge of journal entries in accounting
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Relevant education in finance or accounting
Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:
Experience in the agricultural industry
Professional certification in accounting or finance
Experience with Settlements and Whole Goods transactions
