Description

Provide instruction to students enrolled in the Architectural Technologies program.
-Design and implement a student-centered learning environment using an outcome-based approach in either a face-to-face or online delivery mode.
-Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations using principles of adult learning.
-Develop new curriculum, training aids, and materials as needed.
-Use digital tools proficiently, including general office applications.
-Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using varied instructional methods.
-Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
-Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.
-Be responsive to accommodation of special learning needs, including equity groups and diverse learners.
-Where required, develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, supporting students in working experience.
-Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements.
-Mentor students related to educational opportunities, industry expectations, and career goals.
-Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment.
-Attend program and school meetings.
