PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION STARTING END APRIL
Main Duties:
Answer busy switchboard
Greet patients and check them in on Accuro
Make calls and send faxes for doctors
Ensure that all Accuro tasks are completed timeously
Schedule patients for appointments with Doctors on Accuro
Handle cash/cheques for payments by patients accurately
Update and file/scan patient medical records
Prepare patients for examination:
Height/weight, blood pressure, pregnancy tests,
urinalysis, well baby and ECG procedures
Assist doctors with minor procedures when necessary
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
Ensure equipment is autoclaved
Examination Rooms:
Maintain supplies and dispose of contaminated supplies, arrange examining room instruments and equipment, clean
and prepare room between patients
Submission of billings for doctors on Accuro
Hours:
Clinic Hours:
Monday Friday: 8am - 5pm
Some Saturdays/Public Holidays: 9am - 3pm
Requirements:
Excellent people skills
MOA diploma or Medical Office experience
Understanding of medical terminology
Computer literate
Accuro or other EMR experience an advantage
Detail orientated
Ability to perform as part of a team
Canadian resident
Remuneration:
Dependent on experience and qualification
