Description

Crestline Coach Ltd. is seeking a self motivated individual to add to our Maintenance Team.

Key activities of this role:  
Reference machine operation and maintenance manuals to perform scheduled, unscheduled, and breakdown maintenance
Identify and resolve potential safety hazards
Perform simple to complex equipment and tool troubleshooting
Establish and Maintain accurate preventive and scheduled maintenance records
Ensure required parts are properly identified and ordered in a timely manner.  
Actively participate in continuous improvement meetings
Inspect materials and equipment
Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap and cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste within the companys production environment
Coordinate with, and supervise if necessary, external contractors as required
Provide guidance to contractors to ensure reliability of manufacturing equipment
Ensure all contractors comply with safety and compliance regulations when performing work
Be responsible for general maintenance and facility cleanliness
Conduct regular tests of safety equipment to ensure safety/operational standards

Technical Skills/Competencies:
5+ years experience working in a manufacturing or industrial facility
Experience in implementing and following a preventive maintenance schedule
A high degree of mechanical knowledge and comfort working with a variety of production equipment, tools and machinery
Ability to read drawings / blueprints / schematics
Fabrication and CNC experience an asset
Understand the production process in terms of quality and quantity
Understand quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements
A strong belief in safe work practices
Ability to clearly identify and communicate potential safety hazards
Ability to communicate and manage outside contractors
