Description

Lake Country Co-op is hiring a Lumber Team Leader - Trainee onsite at our Home Centre location in Shell Lake, SK.

If you are looking to use your industry knowledge and leadership skills to take the Shell Lake Home Center to the next level, Lake Country Co-op is looking for you! You will be responsible for providing oversight and leadership to the Lumber department while assisting with day-to-day operations for the entire store.

What youll do:
    Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
    Collaborate with the Store Leader in initiating, developing, and implementing plans, policies, and innovations that will ensure sales, service, and earnings growth in multiple product categories in alignment with the retail strategic direction and corporate objectives
    Lead, manage, and provide oversite to the operational team; oversee and supervise the team members, including training, coaching, mentoring, and scheduling
    Quote and estimate projects, maintain customer records, and follow up in a timely manner
    Ensure the store and storage areas are well organized and visually appealing
    Perform receiving, stocking, operating point of sale systems, pricing, displaying, selling, conducting inventory counts, and assist with inventory control procedures
    Handle complaints and warranty concerns
    Assist with day-to-day operational tasks including opening and closing the store and maintaining a safe and clean store environment
