Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Director(s) of Pre and Postoperative Surgery and Director of Operative Care - Urban and provides administrative support in a one-on-one working relationship. This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio(s), through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions.  The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan  Health Authority's objectives.
The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested.

Required Qualifications

Completion of Grade XII supplemented by a recognized business course or equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience
3+ years experience working in a senior administrative position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems.
Ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of the organization, including its governance and organizational structure and relationships
