PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Ochapowace Nation is looking for a full-time Teacher for Middle Years to join our team for the 2023 academic year. The incumbent will work closely with the Principal to promote a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Demonstrates strong English Language Arts; balanced literacy knowledge.
Will be responsible for providing an educational setting where students will be able to achieve their intellectual, psychological, physical, and emotional growth.  
Can adapt and support student learning;
Creates authentic relationships with students.
Can successfully infuse and highlight Indigenous values and ways of knowing into all areas of the curriculum.
Will work with the community to integrate knowledge and skills,
Online curriculum is required.
Treaty education and knowledge would be a definite asset,
Daily record keeping or daily plans,
Other duties as may be assigned by the Principal and Director of Education
