We are seeking a talented individual to be a key member of our growing marketing team developing and managing multiple WordPress sites that are tightly integrated with our own internal platform as well as third-party integrations. You will find this role both challenging and rewarding as you leave your unique imprint and help us to evolve our web presence and core technologies. You will primarily support marketing efforts as the liaison between our sales/marketing team and platform tech team. This position requires 3+ years of WordPress experience, ideal for a developer with a high attention to detail, exceptional grammar and understanding of best practices.

In your role as WordPress Developer & Designer, you will be expected to:
Work with a team of marketers, project managers and developers;
Develop, maintain and configure multiple custom websites that serve the Obasa Group and its subsidiaries;
Create custom WordPress themes or plugins if needed;
Select and debug third-party WordPress plugins;
Contribute to attractive framework design and content development.
Design and iterate in a sandbox environment then push (during off-peak hours) approved changes to LIVE servers hosted with Digital Ocean;
Create documentation and maintain change logs;
Identify, recommend and implement technological enhancements;
Develop for SEO best practices and optimized code that executes quickly and cleanly on all desktop and mobile browsers with the aim for high search ranking.
