Location: Meeting Lake, Saskatchewan
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Carpenters to join our team for a
full-time position from June 2023 to September 2023. As an apprentice carpenter, you will
most likely work alone on small projects around the farm. Your role will be vital in ensuring
that each project is completed to the highest standards, while developing your own carpentry
skills and techniques.
You will be given the necessary tools and guidance to complete any task to the highest
possible standard, so any prior carpentry experience is not essential. You must have a
passion for carpentry and be able to work independently with great attention to detail to be
successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
Assist carpenters in measuring and cutting materials, and assembling structures
Operate and maintain hand and power tools
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
High school diploma or equivalent
Carpentry experience or technical training is preferred but not required
The applicant must possess the ability to work remotely throughout the entirety of the
summer season. Additionally, the position includes room and board.
