YQR distillery and Fermentation Lab is eagerly looking for a Director of Operation to manage the daily activities of a company by overseeing several departments. They are responsible for directing actions across an organization and direct managers to improve efficiency.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cultivates and promotes the YQRs credo, core values, service commitments, 100%, and overall YQR and Fermentation Lab culture
- Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Plans, directs, and coordinates all operational departments including the sales department, warehouse/manufacturing/logistic/inventory department. - This includes safety, profitability, staffing, security, and overall success of the projects and operations YQR undertakes
- Supports subordinate department managers to resolve the issue with the financial assistance for the payment of the orders
- Proactively develops solutions to address potential issues
- Develop teamwork and maintain good staff moral
Develops and supervises subordinate department Managers on proper processes, methodologies, and concepts & techniques for management to improve overall employee value
- Help to manage the hiring of subordinate department and training that will be working as the team supporting the Director of operations Role
Response or assisting the marketing and promotion with the associated department
- Familiar with the liquor sale policies, regulations, law and company rules and keep updated frequently with the company
- Ensure each department follow the safety standard rule and security procedure
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree related to liquor production is an asset
3y+ experience in the liquor industry or in related position
Proficient in using MS Office and management program
OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid certifications.
Must have certificate of Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS
