We are looking for 1-2 experienced Food service supervisors to join the team and carry out the following duties:
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment, effectively and efficiently work during peak hours;
- Oversees the daily operation of the restaurant;
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff;
- Recruit and train new staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures;
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;
- Keep records of inventories, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Ensure the quality of food and services meet the cooperations standards;
- Address customers' complaints or concerns with excellent customer service skills;
- Prepare and submit reports to the management;
- Establish work schedules;
- Other duties assigned by the manager or owner.
Education: Grade 12 and above. A diploma/certification in a Culinary discipline is an asset.
Previous experience: Minimum of 1 year in the culinary field required. Experience in Chinese restaurants and fast food is an asset.
Qualifications: Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (Preferred)
Language: English is preferred, and Mandarin Chinese is an asset.
