Description

Crete-Tek is a Specialty Contractor, locally owned and operated, based in Esterhazy, SK. Specializing in;Concrete, Carpentry, Heavy Gauge Cladding & Asbestos Abatement of all risk levels.

The Superintendent's function is to oversee all aspects of Crete-Tek's capital projects division:
-Scheduling:must be proficient with scheduling software, Assist with Estimating, Prepare and execute change orders, Project Management duties, work closely with existing Safety and Quality Control programs, Oversee Procurement Department and facilitate relationships with material & equipment suppliers, Subcontractor Management, Customer Relations; maintaining the highest level of communication with all key customer personnel, handle all Aspects of the construction process:
o Attend pre-construction meetings, Estimating, Monitor Job site, Approve LEMs/Invoices, Prepare cost to completion reports, Post construction care/warranty
-Work Closely with fellow Superintendents and project admin on the following:
o Man power, Analyze job cost reporting, Update job progress schedule, Prepare and approve data for monthly invoicing, maintain good subcontractor relations, ensure that proper training and mentor-ship is taking place between Superintendents, Foreman, Journeyman, Apprentices & crew members.
Qualifications and Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years experience in the industrial construction industry with min 3 years in a managerial role, Experience with Fieldglass, Ariba, AIMSIO, MS Project software, Interpret Blueprint/Drawings, Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Test, Strong time management, planning & communication skills.
