This is a term position, based in Regina, that is and is open to students pursuing a post-secondary education who are looking for summer employment. These positions will run from late May through until late August and include an EDO every second Friday.
Tasks include:
Disassembling non-repairable & obsolete oil-filled distribution equipment
Removing components and sort; separate aluminum, brass, and copper material
Preparing scrap core and coils for shipping
Assembling containers and pallets for materials to be shipped in
Monitoring scrap oil levels
Various other duties as assigned
About You
You have:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to plan & meet deadlines; the flexibility to adapt if priorities change
Familiarity with workplace health and safety
Organizational & time management skills
Ability to work independently
Experience using hand tools
The following would be considered assets:
Experience with the manufacturing process
Possesses a mechanical aptitude
