Wadena Meat Processors is currently looking for a full-time (40hr/week) Meat Processor. Must be able to work on the slaughter floor. Will also be de-boning and packaging.
Job duties:
Cut, debone, grind and prepare meat products for further processing
Ensure that meat products are properly stored and maintained in a clean and safe environment
Use knives and other cutting equipment to prepare meat products according to customer requests
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Keep track of inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered
Slaughter animals as a team
Requirements:
Previous work experience as meat cutter will be an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Able to communicate in English
