Job Description:
-Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
-Attend to customers upon entrance
-Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
-Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
-Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
-Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
-Issue bills and accept payment
-Promote dedication from customers
-Serve and mix alcoholic beverages, must be 19 years of age and hold valid serve it right certificate
-Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests
-Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
-Set up event rooms as per contract guidelines including table set up
-Set event buffets with food presentation standards in mind
-Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
-Communicate with event organizers & managers to ensure smooth operation of restaurant service & events
Clean up venue after closing hours and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks
