Reporting to the Provincial or Site Leader of Supportive Care the Clinical Oncology Social Worker is responsible for providing psychosocial consultation, clinical assessment, clinical intervention and counseling services to patients and families. This position actively participates in department education programs and is expected to adopt the interdisciplinary model, which defines the department and participates in a manner that embraces this model.
