Description

Potzus Ltd is one of Saskatchewan's largest heavy construction companies. Day-to-day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, asphalt production and paving.

We are currently hiring for a service writer for Truck Saver Service. The company services and provides parts for Potzus Paving Ltd.

Qualifications:

-Service writing experience in the heavy contruction or truck/trailer industry.
-Needs to be a Hands-on service writer who is a problem solver, detail-oriented and focused on practical solutions to issues
-Highly motivated and productive employee
-Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources within projects.
-Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges
-Advanced written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information to all levels of management and the field

Responsibilities:

-Work with the management team, service manager, and field supervisors to assist with department functions including, but not limited to, heavy equipment and truck/trailer service costs, equipment costs, procurement of services and parts, service order writing &-preparation/qualification on equipment. Also responsible for monitoring hours for efficiency in respect to service and parts department operations.
-Review and distribute weekly service department work orders.
-Assist with ongoing maintenance services costs, needs and efficiency goals.
-Assist to manage equipment costs, parts inventory, and regular financial statements reflecting costs.
-A thorough understanding of the construction industry- particularly with heavy construction, highways and civil construction.
