Working with Camecos alphaNUCLEAR team, you will assist in servicing and calibrating equipment used in uranium exploration, mines and mills for detection and measurement of radiation as well as radon gas and its decay products. The work will involve use of electronic calibration equipment, wiring of small components, assembly of battery power supplies and fabrication of protective casings.
The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May 2023 to August 2023), be comfortable working in a small team and have a commitment to safety. Travel to Camecos operating mine and mill sites is not expected but may be possible.

You have completed one year of an electronics technician or related program and will be returning to school in the fall of 2023. You will have a demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Interviews will take place in February/March 2023. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
