Program Staff build communities that value the contributions of people who experience developmental disabilities. They assist with activities of daily living, working collaboratively with families, advocates, friends, and community partners in order to promote full citizenship and enhance relationships. Recognizing peoples right to self-determination and valuing their unique gifts while encouraging continuous growth and development is only a part of what makes this a rewarding career.
Key responsibilities include:
-Implement person-centered plans and activities
-Provide personal assistance, supervision and care
-Provide security through emotional and moral support
Time to rebrand yourself and find joy in a rewarding career path We are seeking someone who is committed, empathetic and passionate about supporting adults with differing abilities to reach their full potential.
Successful candidates will have:
-Grade 12 Diploma or GED - Grade 12 Equivalency
-Valid Class 5 Drivers license
-Standard First Aid and CPR (may obtain after hire)
-Certified Safe Food Handler (may obtain after hire)
