Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP Corporate Finance position provides overall leadership and direction in the active management of the business drivers, financial forecasts and results. Primarily responsible for analyzing new business opportunities, providing financial analysis of transaction and portfolio performance as well as assist our first line business goals through informed decisions.

The VP Corporate Finance does the following:

- Provide Insights into Innovation's business drivers, financial forecasts and results.
- Lead quantitative analysis of driver based-metrics and financial results to deliver insights about Innovation's financial performance
- Partner with senior leadership teams throughout the company to provide value added analysis and business insights.
- Improve and maximize Innovations financial performance through identification of business trends, implications and recommendations.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management regarding profitability, risk management, and other financial characteristics of business lines, products and opportunities throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on major company initiatives from the financial and strategy perspective, including but not limited to, business model evaluation, cost saving opportunities, and operational efficiency.
- Participating as a member of the senior leadership team and the Innovation Strategic Financial Management (SFM) Committee in developing on and off balance sheet strategy.
-Work collaboratively with first line partners to build effective business cases related to new opportunities to Innovation.
- Undertake a lead role in investigating and analyzing new business opportunities and asset classes to the credit union.
-Present analysis and provide recommendations to Executive Management and Board Committees as required.
