The Saskatoon Housing Authority is currently recruiting two seasonal term positions for snow removal. The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of snow removal at various scattered properties, while complying with applicable Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow and
ice control
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks
- Maintain positive relations with tenants, SHA
staff, and general public
- Other duties may include, but may not be limited to: cleaning and deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Reliable and physically fit
- Ability to use a shovel and operate snow
blowers, snow sweepers, and back pack blowers
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Driver's Abstract and Criminal Record

-Reliable vehicle
- Must be willing to work according to snow fall
requirements (weekends, early mornings, evenings)
- Must pass a functionality test (professionally administered)
