Eva Freight Inc is looking for Long Haul Company Driver based out of Regina, SK. We operate both Canada and USA.


Job requirements

Qualifications:

    Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
    Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
    Must complete Mandatory Entry-Level Training (MELT)
    No record of driving license suspension or revocation for more than 36 months period prior applicant submission of application for employment
    No major violation in last 24 months

Documentation Knowledge
Accident or incident reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Bill of landing

Specific Skills
    Load and unload goods
    Operate and drive both single and multi-rear axle trucks to transport goods and materials
    Inspecting trucks before using them,
    Receive and relay information to central dispatch
    Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
    Maintaining trucks and oversee condition of vehicle (inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment)
    Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
    Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
