Description

Prairie Lily Early Learning Centre is looking for a full time Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Supervisor! This is a Monday to Friday position, working with children in our licensed programs with Toddlers and young Preschoolers. If you have a passion for working with children, as well as previous experience and education, this is the perfect job for you! The successful candidate for this position must be flexible with hours that they are willing to work.

The successful candidate will need to be passionate about working with young children and assisting with their health, well being, and development. They will need to have a solid understanding of developmental milestones and working in a play based program. They will need to be creative with planning and programming, and will need to understand how to work well with a small team of Edcuators. As this position is for a Supervisor, the successful candidate will also need to display strong leadership skills and be able to motivate a small team of Educators to follow all Centre guidelines and practices. Previous experience in management will be an asset for this position.

The ECE that will be joining our team needs to have a certification of Early Childhood Education Level 2 or 3 through the Ministry of Education, experience working in a play based program, an understanding of the Saskatchewan Play and Exploration curriculum, and the ability to use Hi Mama as well as Reminds 101 for sending out daily reports. They will need to be comfortable working with a team and independently, and will need to have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with parents and members of our team. Previous experience working with children is a must, and candidates without this experience will not be considered for this position.

The successful candidate will need to provide educational certificates and a current criminal record check on or before their first day of work.
