Experience/Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a current resident of Canada, and currently live in, or be willing to, relocate to the Regina area
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role within construction, managing crews and labourers
- Solid understanding of carpentry, exterior installation, safety & building codes / best practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
- Technology - must have working knowledge of smart phones & tablets, Microsoft Office, and electronic calendars. Bonus would be experience with BuilderTrend software
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines, as well as work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Must have valid drivers license & clean driving record
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and tradesmen on various sites throughout Regina & area
- Working in conjunction with the Scheduler, Estimators, and Home Builders / Homeowners to ensure quality control and crews adherence to timelines and deadlines
- Organizing work orders, material delivery, and equipment rentals in advance to ensure smooth workflow
- Provide day-to-day direction of crews as well as resolving issues / disputes
- Ensure projects are built on schedule and on budget
- Other ad hoc duties as required
- Reporting to General Manager / Owners
Compensation:
- Annual Salary: $55,000-$75,000, depending on experience
- Health & Dental Benefits package available after 3 months
