This position provides complex, politically sensitive and confidential administrative support to the Director of Roadways & Transportation within the Citizen Services Division. This position is responsible for assisting the Director to accomplish the Departments goals and objectives by managing the Directors correspondence and schedule and coordinating and delegating the work of the Department as directed by the Director. This position reports to the Director of Roadways &Transportation.
The knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are generally obtained through the completion of a grade twelve (12) diploma and a diploma or certificate in business administration/management, office administration or public administration plus five (5) years or more of progressively responsible experience in providing senior level administrative support
