Description

Do you love Hockey? Do you have a passion for Arena maintenance and keeping things in good condition? If So, we need to talk!

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following tasks and activities. This position requires the ability to work shifts on a flexible rotating schedule during the days, evenings and weekends to provide coverage of the arena seven days a week as well as on-call hours. All shifts and hours are in compliance with Labour standards.

Duties include but are not limited to the following;
*  Maintenance of Olympic sized ice surface
*  Maintenance of refrigeration plant
*  Daily Building Inspections and janitorial duties
*  Perform all regular maintenance and preventative maintenance duties including but not limited to grounds work, snow removal, Painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)

What we need from you
*  Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
*  One (1) to two (2) years Arena experience
*  Trade Tickets considered an asset
*  Saskatchewan Parks & Recreation Association (SPRA), Arena Operators Certificate or Certified Ice Technician (CIT) designation is preferred
*  Refrigeration ticket considered an asset
*  First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certificate is considered an asset
*  Mechanically inclined with experience in all aspects of general maintenance and repair
*  Must be willing to work within a variety of conditions
*  Some mathematical and computer skills necessary.
*  Must have a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Valid Driver's license.

Hours
Part-Time Hours are from September 1st to April 30th
Full-Time Hours are from May 1st to August 31st
