The Systems Analyst will be expected to take ownership of the investigation, diagnoses, and resolution of technical and service-related questions regarding this administration software. Responding to emails and calls from internal staff and external clients having issues with software and processing transactions, you will be expected to be a product expert and understand our business processes in depth. You will be the voice of your clients internally and act as a liaison between the client, the Employee Benefits Plan Team and Lifeworks. Reporting to the Director of the Employee Benefits Plan (EBP), you will be an important contributor to this team.
As a member of the EBP team, your role will include developing, implementing, documenting, operating, evaluating and maintaining all system applications for the effective update, reconciliation and audit of Plan member records to achieve and maintain the highest degree of member record data integrity.
Responsibilities:
Resolve client inquiries by phone or email support
Understand business requirements, build test cases and test software changes
Troubleshoot problems by researching, analyzing and identifying symptoms and cause
Support continued development of technical expertise within the EBP team
Recognize business process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Build knowledge management through regularly documenting and sharing lessons learned, and increasing the teams knowledge base
Create training materials and guides for both EBP and Plan Administrators and participate in in person training events and conferences
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
University or college diploma in business administration or computer science or equivalent
Saas experience is an asset
Document creation skills are essential
Training experience is an asset
Experience with Microsoft SQL scripts.
Business knowledge of benefit administration would be an asset
