The Technical Analyst  Disaster Recovery Coordinator will lead the delivery and coordination of disaster recovery programs. This position will provide leadership to business units in the in-depth analysis, research, acquisition, and development of technology solutions. This role is central in the management of plans and procedures driving disaster recovery strategies, working alongside Business Continuity Management and Risk. This position works with the IT technical staff and vendors, ensuring that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle. In the event of an outage or disaster, this role will facilitate the recovery process and inform key stakeholders of schedules and outcomes.

Key Outcomes and Responsibilities:

Deliver client support for the suite of Technology programs, products, and services products through:
- Supporting provided to clients including issue escalation and resolution management
- Delivering training to clients and other users
- Conducting day to day operations, including process and procedure creation
- Acting as a point of contact for disaster recovery efforts
- Partnering with technology delivery teams to provide guidance in developing and documenting disaster recovery plans
- Working with multiple technology teams to address issues preventing recovery solution implementation
- Review and validate Backup and Recovery technical processes
- Develop annual disaster recovery testing schedules based on business requirements

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience in an Information Systems environment
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in disaster recovery and business continuity
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in participating with project management
- Related ITIL qualifications are an asset for management of IT projects
