About the Opportunity
This position is based in Regina and is focused on conducting electrical & oil tests on distribution & power transformers during the final assembly process.
Tasks Include:
Perform electrical & oil sample tests & record results
Build, install, & wire electrical control panels; perform wiring checks
Troubleshoot & fix equipment problems as they arise
During customer visits, represent PTI
Ensure all work is performed safely
Conduct equipment maintenance
About You
You have:
Journeyperson Electrician with provincial electrical licence is preferred but will consider an Electrical Engineer Technologist certificate + related experience in a test environment
Ability to read & interpret drawings, sketches, & specifications with an eye for detail
Good interpersonal & communication skills (oral/written)
Strong mathematical ability & computer skills (MS Excel, Procom, Networking)
Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet/6 metres
Focus on working safely
Problem-solving skills & a mechanical aptitude
Organizational & time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
Ability to learn quickly, understand complex topics & work independently
Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
