The Red Earth Cree Nation Education department is currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to play an integral role as a member of our Information Technology Team.
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the Red Earth Cree Nation Education department staff and students.
Support school technology for students and staff including but not limited to iPads, desktops, laptops, interactive whiteboards, projectors, e-Readers, printers, document cameras, software, file storage, backups, servers, etc.
Provide onsite and remote support to school staff and students.
Provide purchasing support on all technology related items.
o Manage and maintain a Microsoft Windows Server Core and Microsoft HyperV environment.
o Building and maintaining local area network including Windows Servers, network switching (VLANS), wireless access points and firewalls.
o Active Directory management, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office suite.
o Exchange/Outlook, Office 365 Administration and Microsoft Teams.
o AD Group policies, Windows deployment services and WSUS.
o Ensure system reliability through redundancy, backups, security, anti-virus, firewall, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5+ years of recent work experience as a systems administrator or other IT management role.
Vendor technical certifications are desirable criteria for our selection including MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, A+, ITIL, etc.
Must be able to complete a vulunerable sector check.
