Parkland College welcomes applications for the position of Marketing & Communications Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Yorkton, SK and is to begin on July 11, 2022.
The Opportunity:
This position is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of College marketing, branding and communications strategies that enhance the organizations reputation and culture, and advance the goals and objectives of Parkland College. Work involves primary responsibility for overall College marketing, communications, and branding through the use of strong targeted marketing campaigns. Position will liaise with internal college staff across all program areas and with external partners and stakeholders.
What You Bring:
-The minimum educational qualification for this position is a bachelors degree in Business / Commerce (with a focus on Marketing or Communications).
-The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is 4 years experience in a similar business environment. This experience will demonstrate knowledge of marketing, branding, advertising, public relations, and business management.
-Certification and / or experience with Facebook Blueprint, Hootsuite Social Marketing, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hubspot, and Adobe Creative programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, ect.) will be considered an asset.
-Experience developing and implementing national and international marketing strategies.
-Demonstrated experience in the areas of branding, digital marketing, market research and advertising.
-Demonstrated experience in working with people from equity groups in a cross-cultural setting.
