Recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, Brandt provides top quality products to its customers worldwide. As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking Assemblers for our new Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility. Responsibilities include:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform all assembly functions at an acceptable standard level
-Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
-Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, setup and repair of machinery
-Move materials as required using a forklift
-Stage materials as required using a forklift
-Use Power tools as required
-Reports all damaged goods and or scrap to supervisor
-Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

-Must have some assembly experience
-Must be able to read and understand shop drawings
-Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
-Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
-Has some knowledge of proper maintenance of equipment under this classification
-Must be capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
-Able to effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language when appropriate, with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management
-Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders
-Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
-Must have excellent attention to detail.
