Duties include:
-  Manage and perform departmental customer relations, including new and existing, and resolution of service issues.
-  Develop annual department budget for review and approval. Monitor monthly revenues and expenses. Initiate and maintain records including work orders, invoices, expense transaction logs, shipping/receiving, and attendance of staff and individuals served.
-  Forecast and schedule production requirements to meet contract deadlines. Review equipment and staff requirements versus production needs and recommend changes as required. Assist in production duties when needed.
-  Procurement of production materials and supplies, monitor inventory and waste levels to ensure efficient operations. Assist in developing and recommending product pricing and costing as required. Prepares quotations for new items, involving Senior Supervisor.
-  Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities and safety procedures for department facilities and equipment to ensure product quality, production efficiency, product compliance with HT Program, and safe working conditions.
-  Supervises and monitor skill development and training activities for individuals served in the department.

Qualifications:
Education:
-  Journeyman Certificate - Carpentry or Millwork (4 years).
-  Valid Forklift Operators Certificate.
-  Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Level C Certificate.
-  Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence.
Experience:
-  Business procedures including invoicing, purchasing, shipping and receiving.  
-  Specialized Industrial Equipment in a Wood Working Environment.

Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.
