INDOC Cranes, located at 312, Hwy 305 North Dalmeny, SK S0K 1E0, has an opening for an Overhead Crane Technician Apprentice. This is a full-time position with on-the-job training. This support role will perform various tasks while working out in the field. Applicant will assist with installations, repair service and preventative maintenance including inspections of overhead cranes, hoists and other material handling equipment. As a new member to the team, the applicant will be trained to complete the following duties:
Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Display a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goals
Inspect hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls and pullers
Complete maintenance reports and documentation
Perform crane inspections, repairs, installations and respond to breakdown calls
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Other duties as assigned
Applicant will need:
A Valid Drivers License
Own Safety boots and tool
Participate in Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol testing
Able to work in elevated areas
Technically Inclined
Mechanical aptitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Eager to learn
Knowledge and understanding of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems are an asset but not required.
