Summer Student Job Summer Student Job

Description

We're looking for an outdoor soccer league coordinator who can bring equipment to our adult rec soccer games, answer questions about rules, record scores and update the standings on the website.

The shift runs Monday nights from May 30-Aug. 29, 6:15-8:45 PM (2.5 hours) at Parc Canada 8 in Confederation Park in Saskatoon. We pay a minimum call out of 3 hours. You may be asked to cover a shift for our Sunday afternoon Beach Dodgeball League Coordinator, though there's no obligation to do so. Employees are paid on the 10th and 25th of each month.

We need someone who:
- Can store and transport large bags of equipment, including soccer balls, pop-up nets, and first aid kits.
- Has a basic understanding of soccer rules (or a willingness to learn!).
- Has a smartphone for updating scores at the games.
- Can stay cool under pressure if any of the games get a little heated. (League coordinators are not referees, but may be called upon to settle disputes occasionally.)

Play Sask has a friendly community and offers a relaxed work environment where you can spend some time outdoors and make a little extra cash!
