Southwest Day Care and Early Learning Centre is looking for a full-time Early Childhood Educator.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Understand and uphold the Ministry's standards for ECE Education
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 18 months - 12 years
- Knowledge of Play and Exploration Curriculum an asset, but not required
- Demonstrates a commitment to working in partnership with parents, Board of Directors, and co-educators
- Flexibility of assigned work hours during the operation of 6am-6pm
Job Requirements:
- Early Childhood Education Level 1, 2, 3 or working towards the required Ministry training (support for training)
- Current First Aid and CPR Training
- Current Criminal Record Check
- Experience in a structured childcare and early learning environment is an asset
- Planning age-appropriate activities to ensure child developmental milestones are being met
