Can you write a news release that sings? Can you bring a strategic focus to the crafting of briefing notes, speeches, correspondence and communications plans?

SaskEnergy is seeking a professional, talented, organized person to join our Government & Media Relations team. The Senior Communications Officer leads the development of strategic written external and internal communications materials to engage SaskEnergy staff as well as members of the general public and the provincial mediahelping us tell our story to various stakeholders. The Senior Communications Officer works closely with employees throughout SaskEnergy, including senior executives, and also assists with media and government relations.

Qualified applicants will possess
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Degree in English, Journalism or Communications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Three (3) years of communications experience in the public or private sector, which may have included working in the media

Additional Information
- Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required on occasion
