Northern Saskatchewan - Travel Required
Work Schedule: 2 weeks in 2 weeks out
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook a wide variety of food for menu preparation
-Prepare food to meet quality standards.
-Carry out directives of Chef or designate as requested.
-Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
-Maintain an orderly and clean environment.
-Ensure all food items remain stocked.
-Set up front line for meal service as required.
-Serve the meal lines during meal service periods
-Tear down line, put away food, including cleaning and refilling steam table as needed.
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Completion of a recognized professional cooking course would be considered an asset.
-1 year cooking experience in a busy kitchen environment.
-Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid, recognized food safe certificate
-Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
-Physical ability to perform assigned duties.
