3 Line Cooks required

Employer: Zervos BBQ & Tavern

Full/part-time, year-round, including weekends.

Location: Saskatoon

Wage: negotiable depending on experience

Benefits: extended medical after 6 months of employment

Start date: Immediate

Zervos Tavern started out as a brotherhood and has transformed into a community. We are looking for cooks who want to join our team and contribute to our concept where our clients can enjoy good food and fresh drinks in a happy atmosphere.

Requirements
-    Minimum 1 of year of direct experience as a cook in a restaurant.
-    Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
-    Familiar with the restaurant industrys best practices.
-    Attention to detail.
-    Must be able to communicate in English.

Duties and Responsibilities
-    Prepare food items for customers as requested, including special requests, in a timely and consistent manner.
-    Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
-    Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
-    Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, dairy and other food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags.
-    Processes prepared foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
-    Inspect food products and supplies as needed.
-    Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized.
-    Check food before it is served to customers.
-    Control and minimize waste.
-    Comply with outlined safety regulations and procedures.
