Express Employment is seeking Legal Assistants for a well established local legal office in Regina. We are currently looking for Legal Assistants to fit roles in litigation, corporate law and family law. The ideal candidate would possess experience in one of the three specific fields however our client has indicated that they are open to candidates with administration or legal experience in general .
Job Duties Include but are not Limited to:
-Day to day file management
Administration
-Drafting and finalizing legal documents
-Reporting to and working directly with human resources and all staff and lawyers in the Regina office
-Other duties relating directly to the nature of the specific legal field that the candidate is applying for
Required Skills and Experience:
-2-5 years experience in an administrative capacity with demonstrated -organizational,interpersonal and communication skills
-experience in an automated environment
-knowledge of procedures and documentation including preparation of trial materials
-experience in a legal environment would be an asset
-knowledge of legal terminology and familiarity with legal documents would be an asset
-impeccable interpersonal & client service skills
-ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion and impartiality when necessary
-extensive electronic file management responsibilities
-strong attention to detail including proofreading, writing, spelling and grammar skills
