Description

The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.

First Nations Health Services is seeking highly motivated individuals to provide administrative support to programs within First Nations Health Services and All Nations Healing Hospital. Reporting to the Executive Director or her designate, this position will provide support to ensure efficient operations of departments and programs. This position is based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Executive Director and program staff.
- Maintain electronical data and records for programs.
- Provide coverage to departments and programs across the facility.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Business Administration plus one year experience in the administration/clerical field.
- Valid class 5 licence.
- Current CPIC & Vulnerable Sectors check.
- Successful candidates must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or provide negative tests weekly.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to organize, problem solve, set priorities, and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Ability to learn, adapt, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with constant interruption.
- Exceptional knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or within a team with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions.
