Cost Accountant

Responsibilities:
Work closely with Technical and Production departments to review the existing grade cost system and provide recommendation for improvement
Maintain item master setup and item maintenance
Perform detailed review of fixed and variable costs; and provide value added variance analysis
Provide grade margin analysis and identify potential margin risk
Value inventory and assist in cycle counts and year-end physical counts
Maintain Fiber inventory and costing
Assist in month-end and year-end closing and report preparation; investigate large variances
Work closely with Requisitions, Purchasing, Receiving, Stores and other departments to achieve accuracy, completeness and timeliness of inventory data.
Monitor and identify problems in inventory system and work with other departments to get it resolved
Annual standard cost roll up

Qualifications:
Bachelor in accounting or business, CPA preferred.
Progressive accounting responsibility, minimum of 4 years, cost accounting experience preferred.
Advanced in excel, power point, familiar with ERP accounting, SAP preferred.
Self starter, strong communication skills, deliverable, accuracy and reliable professional.
