Westminster United Church requires a part time Office Administrator to work two days a week. The shifts are 3 hrs. each, for a total of 6 hrs. per week. One day must be Friday, the other day is flexible. The position requires basic computer and keyboarding skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and distribute Sunday bulletins and church announcements.
Pick up and distribute mail.
Check and respond to emails during office hours.
Check phone messages during office hours and when the minister is away.
Handle church communication as required.
Arrange emergency coverage when Minister is away.
Coordinate bookings for the church and keep booking calendar updated.
Maintain office supplies and equipment.
Additional duties as negotiated by Church Council.
