a holistic approach to wellness, based on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual
aspects of well-being.
Physical (endurance, fitness, well-being)
Mental (mindfulness, outdoor survival skills - fire, shelter, hunting, etc.,
community well-being and incorporation of community teaching resources)
Emotional (connections to family, land, cultural arts, tipi teachings)
Spiritual (relationships and respect for each other, the land, the two-legged, four-
legged, swimmers and winged ones; harvesting game, food sovereignty and sustainability)
Treaty education and knowledge would be a definite asset.
