Hours:          .6 FTE or 20 hrs per week

SIGN Walk in Counselling Clinic is seeking an adaptive, solution focused counselling professional, to provide client centered and outcome-informed counseling services that are wellness focused and based on brief-intervention practices, to address health-related issues. The successful candidate will help with appropriate data collection, reporting and scheduling and will work closely with the Clinical and Administration team to meet funder requirements and organizational objectives to ensure rapid access to mental health services are available.

Expectations:
    Deliver single session brief therapy services in a walk-in clinic setting;
    Assist with the case and file management of the program;
    Work across interagency departments to enhance coordination of service;
    Coordinate and participate in case management, consultation, and program planning activities;
    Ensure that safe work practices are being followed;
    Respect and protect the rights and privacy of clients;
    Assist with maintaining accurate caseload statistics;
    Maintain knowledge of external regulatory bodies governing the organization;
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
    Bachelor of Social Work, Counselling or other related field with a Masters degree preferred;
    Three to five years experience with demonstrated knowledge and professional practice skills in frontline services including case management, counselling or clinical services, program management, and/or grief service/crisis intervention;
    Hold or is eligible for a professional license or registration with Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (if applicable);
    Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
