Description

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) invites applications for the full-time permanent, out-of-scope Executive Assistant 2 position servicing GSCS Administrative Services.

GSCS provides support for 1950 staff, 19755 students and transports 5399 students a day to fifty Catholic elementary and high schools in Saskatoon and area. Corporate Services is made up of Student Transportation, Facility Rentals, Procurement, Insurance and Legal. The Executive Assistant 2 is a highly skilled and dynamic individual who provides confidential administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer, Manager of Facilities and Capital Projects, and the Manager of Corporate Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination of procurement, administration of agreements, assist in processing accounting transactions, and coordination of material distribution services at the GSCS Service Centre.

Required Qualifications:
- Participation in a Catholic Church community
- Post-secondary certification in business administration or a degree in a related field. Certification from the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) would be considered an asset
- Five years of experience in an administrative support position
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, with the ability to master a variety of Division software applications
- The ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines and work independently
- Possess excellent written, mathematical, and oral communication skills to liaise with a variety of vendors and staff
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage tasks, processes, resources and information
- Knowledge of relevant procurement legislation, regulations, and acts would be considered an asset
